MEET RICKY

Hi, my name is Ricky-Anne Wakeham. I am the head herbalist and co-founder of Aether Apothecary.

In my late teens I discovered that I'd unknowingly been living with irritable bowel syndrome my entire life. I had also always been a highly sensitive person, being very prone to anxiety related imbalances and dis-ease.

I took this as an opportunity to learn, to find the herbs and ways in my life which could holistically facilitate healing.

I worked with many Natural Therapeutics. Natural medicines became my best friend and passion. Seeing myself heal and slowly begin to shed the anxieties, stomach issues and various other dis-eases showed me the true power these naturals hold.

Now, I still stand in awe, reverence and wonderment at these incredible allies. Being able to share the wisdoms of the natural world is an honour and I hope that through our sessions we can bring you into better alignment and radiant health too.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • BA HUMANITIES

    Major in Psychology and English, minor Social anthropology. A process which taught me academic rigour and cultural compassion.

  • MASTER HERBALIST DIPLOMA

    This course allowed for me to truly stabilise the practical application of herbs through a theoretical approach.

  • REIKI MASTER HEALER

    An ancient Japanese form of energy healing and alternative medicine that helps me attune to the emotional/spiritual component of my clients' wellbeing.
